James also wrote the new Rodney Atkins single “He’s Mine”. Most recently the song he co-wrote, “Give It All We Got Tonight,” which is big George’s 60th number one hit!

Fred Wilhelm is a songwriter/singer originally from New England. He grew up on a family farm where his duties included feeding the chickens and carting out a wheelbarrow of cow manure every day before school. The latter experience has proved extremely useful in the music business.  He attended NYU in Manhattan only to put his degree aside and pursue a career in music.  After numerous bands, tours, managers and a brief stint on Elektra Records, Fred moved to Nashville to concentrate on his two loves – songwriting and himself.

His work has been recorded by a number of multi-platinum country superstars including Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, Little Big Town, Randy Travis, Montgomery Gentry, Lennon & Maisy and The Oak Ridge Boys among many others.  A number of much beloved Americana artists have also recorded songs written with Fred including Mindy Smith, Lori McKenna, Mary Gauthier, Catie Curtis and Matthew Perryman Jones.

In the past 3 years he has had 11 singles on the charts in the US and Canada including the hits “Little Bit Gypsy” recorded by Kellie Pickler and “Donkey” recorded by Jerrod Niemann.  His song “Come On Down” recorded by High Valley was the most played Canadian Country song of 2016.  He currently has a #1 song in Australia with “Throw ‘Em Back” recorded by The Wolfe Brothers.

His songs have been featured in numerous films and television shows including recent placements in “Nashville” on ABC, “The Fosters” on ABC Family.  He played mandolin and produced the recording of “Two Soldiers” recorded by Lori McKenna and featured in the soundtrack to the film “Act Of Valor”.

As a solo artist he has receive critical acclaim in “Billboard”, “Cashbox”, “The Village Voice” and “Performing Songwriter Magazine” which called his album “Amidlife “a midlife crisis set to music”. He is the winner of a New York Music Award, BMI Songwriter Award, Billboard Songwriting Contest Award and Fifth Grade Fire Prevention Poster Award.   He lives in Tennessee with his wife Lindsay and sons Oscar and August.
Rolling Stone Magazine calls Dan Couch A “True America Bad Ass!”  And while that’s a completely fabricated lie,  Dan has had 20 Plus Major Label “cuts” in the past  6 years.  His songs have hit the Country Top 40 a respectable 5 times including 2 Platinum Selling #1 singles (Somethin’ Bout A Truck, Hey Pretty Girl), and two Top 25 efforts (Young Love and Hole In A Bottle).   In addition to multiple cuts with MCA recording artist Kip Moore and Mercury recording artist Canaan Smith,  Dan songs have landed on the records of Craig Campbell, the recently released Lauren Alaina record,  and the 2015 Jewel release In Pieces.  Dan says he’s “Looking forward to a great year in 2017 with cuts on upcoming projects by Kip Moore, Canaan Smith, and new Curb recording artist Jackson Michelson’s Debut record.”
