Lori Mast & High Gravity- 6.4.22
A true fusion of genres, styles and original music form this very eclectic and versatile band. The members of this group have a combined background in Bluegrass, Blues, Rock, Country and Gospel. You can definitely hear these influences coming out in their original music. This may be the first time they are coming together to blend their musical styles but each member of this group has had the opportunity to play in many bands over the years here in Chattanooga at many events and venues in town including Riverbend, River Roast, Riverfront Nights, Nightfall, just to name a few. Lori Mast & High Gravity were recently featured on Richard Winham’s UTC 88.1 Friday radio show: Live At The Library. The band is comprised of Lori Mast, lead vocals, fiddle, guitar and keys. Sometimes Lori is even known to pull her banjo out to play a little bluegrass to pay homage to her bluegrass roots. Wayne Abston is on lead vocals, guitar, and harmonica. Pete Mast plays bass and keys. On drums and guitar is Brett Ives. This is a high energy group that really enjoys bringing the audience along for the ride.
