featured imageGordon Kennedy is a multi-Grammy Award winning songwriter and record producer, a virtuoso guitarist, and a music industry visionary in Nashville. Gordon’s most successful composition is the international hit song “Change The World,” recorded by Eric Clapton for which Kennedy and his co-writers received a Grammy Award for Song of the Year in 1996. The song won Record of the Year for Eric Clapton, and spent a record breaking 81 weeks on the top of the charts. In 2007 Kennedy also received a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album, co-producing, composing and performing on Peter Frampton’s Fingerprints album. Bluegrass Legend Ricky Skaggs’s Grammy nominated Mosaic, released in 2010, was produced and co-written mostly by Kennedy. It was a career bending recording that was a departure from Skaggs’s bluegrass records. Gordon was a member of the Christian Rock band White Heart for six years in the 1980s. He has lent his talents as a player to Don Henley, Kenny Loggins, Reba McEntire, Michael McDonald, Leanne Rimes, Bruce Hornsby, Little Big Town and Shedaisy, among others. 15 of Gordon’s songs have been recorded by Garth Brooks. Other artists who have recorded his songs include Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Allison Krauss, Bonnie Raitt, Peter Frampton, Tim McGraw and Stevie Nicks. His music has been featured in several films, including: Tin Cup, For the Love of the Game, Almost Famous and The Banger Sisters.

featured imageRob arranged an acoustic waltz version of the rock anthem, “Free Bird”, with the ACM Award-winning country duo, Joey+Rory, which appeared on their debut CD and was featured on CMT’s “Can You Duet”. For two years, he played guitar for Joey Feek. He has held publishing deals with Identical Entertainment, The Heard Music Group and Rescued Music. His song “Greasy John Deere Cap” appears on the Tim Hicks CD, “Throw Down”, which was certified GOLD in August 2017. Other artists who have recorded Rob’s songs include: The Lovelocks, Ivan Parker, Back Home, Karen Peck, Tonja Rose, Brittany Brodie and a variety of indie artists. Garth Brooks describes Rob’s song, “How to Bend” as, “…a beautiful sentiment, a timeless message and a great song.” His music is family friendly, filled with real life and sprinkled with humor. He performs concerts throughout the US, has opened shows for Grammy® Award-winning and Dove Award-winning artists and is a frequent performer at Nashville-area songwriter venues. Rob also has over thirty years experience leading worship at churches and events around the country. His latest release, “Winnebago”, was produced by Michael Farren (Pocket Full of Rocks). It features nine original songs and appears on Wayne Manor Records.
