Rooted in Grace- 11.6.22
Madeleine, Sophia, William & Annaliese Burr are more than the members of a family band named Rooted in Grace. And they are more than gifted vocalists and multi-instrumentalists: they are siblings and collaborators on a grand musical and artistic adventure. Their mission is simple, but not easy: to steward, subcreate, and story-tell.
During a Rooted in Grace show, you’ll hear more than incomparable sibling harmonies and fiery fiddles; you’ll hear stories of redemption and heartache, of a vision for the future and a reckoning of the past. The band’s musicality is breath-taking, their youthfulness is inspiring, but the stories being told through lyrics and melodies are what will capture your heart, make you laugh out loud, and may even change your family forever.
While receiving the best classical music training available in Nashville, Rooted in Grace simultaneously participates in a selective artist development program for family bands. This unusual blend of classical and commercial musical training gives rise to a cornucopia of musical styles and genres, ranging from bluegrass to classical, folk to pop, country to rock, and gospel to Broadway. Both the variety of instruments (3 violins, mandolin, guitar, piano, and harp), and the 2-part, 3-part, and 4-part harmonies capture the imagination in a way little else can, leaving audiences speechless…and coming back for more.
