GOLDEN SOUL REVUE- 4.26.24

Bridging the gap between blues, soul, and Americana, the Brian Golden Blues Experiment was formed in the spring of 2017 with the recording of ‘binomial,’ the group’s debut EP.

After more than a decade performing with upstate New York’s Badweather Blues Band and Master Thieves – and touring the East Coast with Syracuse’s Golden Novak Band – singer/songwriter/guitarist Brian Golden relocated to Music City, Nashville, Tennessee, where he met gospel singer and wife, Aletha Golden.

The newlyweds wasted no time establishing the 8-piece, Tennessee offshoot of the BGBE, all the while maintaining its northeast chapter. In March of 2020, the band released its sophomore effort, “The High Divided,” featuring a handful of newly penned Golden originals and soulful covers of Don Nix’s “Going Down,” Danny Dill’s and Marijohn Wilkin’s “Long Black Veil,” and Curtis Mayfield’s “People Get Ready.”

From acoustic duo to full-on 8-piece electric, or any combination in between, bandleaders Brian and Aletha Golden have made a name for themselves with their emotional delivery and down-home brand of crowd friendliness and southern hospitality.

KARLI & JAMES- 5.4.24

“There’s nothing like writing songs,” says Karli Chayne, lead singer in rising country duo Karli & James. “The vibe I get when I’m putting my feelings on paper, then turning those emotions into a song…it just does it for me.” Her partner, James Sinclair-Stott, is equally enthusiastic about the recording process: “The really exciting part for me is taking a song we’ve written on acoustic guitar and making it a full-blown, radio-quality production.”

Those two perspectives are crucial to the energy this duo brings to their artistry. Karli leans pure country; James leans indie rock, and the result is a refreshingly modern blend that the critics love. “Karli’s winsome soprano takes the lead with James’s soft harmony backing her flawlessly.…Well produced and radio ready,” notes Robert K. Oermann, MusicRow magazine.

And the duo is digging even deeper as they mature as a couple and as artists. Someday Dreaming¬, the EP the duo is currently recording, represents the culmination of that growth. Every song is co-written by Karli and James, with James’s as the solo producer.

In addition to refining their musical niche, Karli & James have spent the last few years honing their live performance chops and building an audience. In addition to playing historic venues in Nashville, the duo has also opened for Brandy Clark, Lonestar, Uncle Kracker, Casey Donahew, Thompson Square, Mark Chesnutt, Sara Evans and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

LYNNMARIE & E3- 5.10.24

What happens when a five-time Grammy nominated artist decides that after thirty-years of making music, it’s time to squeeze out a new style?

You get LynnMarie & E3!
Feel-good music that entertains and inspires.

Nashville artist, accordion player, and five-time Grammy nominee LynnMarie has joined forces with Eddie Rodick III to create Nashville’s newest group. Fusing the music of their Eastern European roots with Americana, Rock, Country and whatever else inspires them, LynnMarie & E3 brings forth new music from two very seasoned performers.

Dubbed “The Dixie Chick of the Accordion” by Jay Leno, the squeeze box player and vocalist, and Polka Hall of Fame inductee, and the first female artist ever to win a Grammy nod for Best Polka Album, has now, partnered with Award-winning musician (and husband) Eddie Rodick III, to create LynnMarie & E3. Together, along with David Vaughan on drums and Will Mandell on bass guitar, this fresh new group is inspiring audiences with their quick banter and undeniable talent.

Throughout her successful career spanning three decades, LynnMarie has gained some great praise. Austin O’Connor of The Sun, a newspaper based in Lowell, Massachusetts where LynnMarie played the National Folk Festival, called her “undoubtedly the sexiest player ever to strap on an accordion!” Rolling Stone chimed in: “LynnMarie is one soulful accordion diva.” Eddie Rodick III has been playing music since he was four years old, becoming a child prodigy on the drums, and then embracing every instrument he could get his hands on. He became one of the most sought-after regional musicians, before moving to Nashville in 2018. Together with their band they have averaged 50-100 dates a year, performed at the Bethlehem Music Festival, the CMA Fan Fair and South By Southwest. They have played every major Oktoberfest across the
county and toured overseas, performing at the Country & Trucker Festival in Interlaken Switzerland, in Slovenia and The Netherlands.

In the three decades that she has been making music, LynnMarie has recorded 13 strong, independent and under the radar albums, consisting mostly of folk music, with a bit of Cajun, Tex-Mex and country sprinkled in. But now, she is turning the tables on her own talent. “My ethnic music is what got me to the party” she laughs, “but there’s always been a plethora of other songs and musical styles inside of me that have wanted to come out, which is why we’ve created LynnMarie & E3.

LynnMarie has written and collaborated with such greats as Vince Gill, Chet Atkins, Dobie Gray, Hal Ketchum, Riders in the Sky, Tom Douglas (The House That Built Me) and Graham Russell of Air Supply. Many of those songs are now going to be able to be heard thanks to LynnMarie & E3.

2COUNTRY4NASHVILLE- 5.17.24

Jo-el & LeAnne are the husband and wife, traditional country music duo, 2Country4Nashville, and they have certainly made a name for themselves right in their hometown of Nashville/Franklin, TN and world-wide as well! They’ve played together & toured for the past 17 plus years (in 5+ countries) and previously performed for 6 years on Carnival Cruise Line ships!! The couple headlined their own SOLD-OUT show at The Ryman Auditorium, the original stage of The Grand Ole Opry, in 2021.

Their duo name, 2Country4Nashville, came about when they auditioned for the 2nd season of the Nashville-based reality CMT former tv competition show, “Can you Duet?” and were loved by the judges but were told they were actually just “too country”. The couple decided to do a play on words, since there were 2 of them, and from that their fun duo name was formed. When you hear their name, you KNOW you’re going to hear some REAL Country Music! But just wait until you hear their perfect harmonies while taking you down a walk on memory lane! You’ll hear songs from Hank Williams, Sr all the way up to George Strait & Alan Jackson (& everything in between!) However, be prepared to be just as impressed when they belt out some Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, and even Jim Croce. And Jo-el is sometimes known to throw in a few classic rock licks on his guitar for the occasional “head-banger” in the audience! But if you miss the sounds of the classic duos from yesteryear, just ask the couple to sing you some George & Tammy; Conway & Loretta; or even some Porter & Dolly! They’ve got those duos, and more, nailed down!

During their music career, 2Country4Nashville have opened for and/or shared the stage with many country music greats, including Moe Bandy, T. Graham Brown, Ronnie McDowell, Roseanne Cash, David Ball, Confederate Railroad, Johnny Bush, Jean Shepard, and Joe Stampley. With over 1500 songs in their repertoire, they can entertain and take requests from their audiences for hours. And their own self-penned original songs are definitely not to be missed. Winning the AWA Pure Country Duo award, and named the Josie Awards Classic Country Duo (2 years in a row), they’ve performed on many stages across the world, (including Malaysia, Sweden, & Nova Scotia) but their favorite accomplishment is the connection & friends they’ve made through the years with their audiences. You’ll hear & see exactly why this couple deserves ALL their accolades they’ve earned.

Their love and passion for one another are visible on and off stage. Their eyes catch one another during a song, and you can just see their spark that they share! And the banter between the 2 on stage is a show in itself – reminiscent of Johnny & June for sure. With the rhinestones on their shirts and that spark in their eyes, these two are definitely putting the “sparkle and twang” back into country music! You WILL be entertained by 2Country4Nashville!

THE DELTAZ- 5.18.24

Shut the screen door on the back porch and throw another log on the fire of the barbecue. Then go inside, pull out your favorite Deltaz album and throw it on the turntable. Heavy blues, roots rock, classic country and the blood harmony of two brothers will pour out of your stereo. Brothers John Siegel and Ted Siegel spend many of their days perfecting new records at a handmade mobile Airstream studio behind their residence just outside of Nashville Tennessee. Before relocating they had become mainstays at a Southern Californian institution, The Old Place, regularly performing for patrons at the ever-packed restaurant in the Santa Monica Mountains where the boys grew up. There, they caught the ear of the late bassist Rick Rosas (Neil Young, Joe Walsh), who became a mentor to the group. They spend their remaining hours rigorously touring, headlining shows across the country, regularly touring in Europe, while attracting the attention of sonic peers such as alt-country act The White Buffalo and Mississippi Blues legend Watermelon Slim, playing with both on several occasions. The Deltaz have had their music placed on CMT and MTV television shows and most recently The Deltaz had their song “Wild Mustang” featured in a film directed by Edward James Olmos, “The Devil Has a Name”, recorded as a duet with vocal rock legend Bonnie Bramlett (Eric Clapton, Leon Russell)

The Deltaz were formed while the brothers were still in high school. The boys had already immersed themselves in roots American music by that point, and this passion led them both to quickly pick up their respective instruments of choice. Ted lays down a bluesy, searing reminiscent slide guitar on his 1950s Harmony Rocket he calls “Huck”, while commanding drummer John has expanded his role behind the drum set to include impressive harmonica work and vocal harmonies that leave audiences overwhelmed at his coordination. The two have clearly learned to work with each other, feeding off of each other’s talents to bring ever-climactic performances to energized and extremely diverse audiences. In 2018 the brothers lost their home and studio in the mountains of Southern California to The Woolsey forest fire and decided to relocate to Nashville in 2020 for a fresh start. With The Deltaz mobile studio in tow the brothers have been crafting their most ambitious album to date, overflowing with all the heavy roots rock goodness their audiences have come to know.

GRACE WEST- 5.29.24

A modern country-pop artist with timeless twang, Grace West was just 12 years old when she picked up her grandfather’s guitar and strummed her first song. Music had always been a daily part of her life, from the gospel songs she sang in the church choir to the Motown classics that rang throughout her family’s Detroit-area home. Even so, something changed the day Grace began making music of her own, sparking a meteoric career that would soon see her signing a publishing deal as a teenager, relocating to Nashville shortly after graduation, and creating a sound that blended northern roots with southern living.

From Motor City to Music City, Grace’s path has been thoroughly defined by music. Her grandfather — a guitar player who loved iconic rock acts like Led Zeppelin — was an early inspiration, as were the musical theater productions that Grace starred in as a child. Coming from a long line of Detroit natives, she also felt herself drawn to Motown music, whose songs told classic tales of life and love. And then there was Nashville, a town separated from Detroit by 530 long miles, yet still near and dear to Grace’s heart from a very young age. She loved country music, and as soon as she learned her first handful of guitar chords, she was playing her own country songs at local venues.

“I was 12 or 13 years old, beginning to perform at bars, festivals, and small venues around my hometown,” she remembers. With a charismatic voice that matched the power of her songwriting, Grace West also began singing the National Anthems at the Detroit Tigers’ major-league baseball games. Performance by performance, her audience grew. Song by song, her writing skills sharpened. A series of trips to Nashville brought her face-to-face with other professional songwriters, and at 16 years old, Grace signed her first publishing deal, landing a job in the music industry while still in high school.

Now living full-time in Nashville, Grace West brings her unique background — her Michigan upbringing, her early exposure to Motown, her lifelong appreciation for the rootsy sounds of the South — to her career as an up-and-coming country star. Although still on the cusp of adulthood, she’s been writing songs for years. That delicate balance — of youthful energy and professional know-how; of country twang and genre-bending storytelling; of old-school influences like Patsy Cline and modern heroes like Kelsea Ballerini — has helped Grace West carve out her own space in Nashville. She’s focused on her future these days, but she’s proudly carrying her past with her.

“I’m making pop-country with an old-school vibe,” she says proudly, nodding to Luke Combs and other contemporary stars who’ve straddled the border between country music’s classic traditions and modern makeover. “I love bringing the elements of classic country — the foundation of the genre — into a more modern sound.”

ASHLEY DAWN- 4.17.24

Born drinkin’ from the water hose and raised on the twang of Randy Travis, Ashley Dawn grew up to be a fun-lovin’, boot-stompin’, honky-tonkin’ American country music songwriter and entertainer. From Brigham City, Utah, she made her way to Nashville, Tennessee, where she landed on the musical runway and put down some new roots.

Ashley Dawn stands as a true American country music artist. Her commitment to the art of songwriting, her strong connection with fans, and her dedication to family values elevate her beyond being just a songwriter and musician—she emerges as an inspirational figure for all. In Ashley, we witness the profound belief that music is a potent medicine, and she administers it with authenticity, passion, and an unwavering love for the country music way of life.

Ashley’s upcoming first solo project is a testament to her talent and heart as a country music songwriter. The collection features songs born at the kitchen table amidst the chaos of raising babies, folding laundry, and paying the water bill. With playful titles like “Trailer in the Woods,” “Letter to the Judge,” and “Who are you (to tell me I’m wrong),” The collection embodies the heart of this country sweetheart’s artistry.

Ashley Dawn delivers a musical experience that’s family-friendly and filled with fun for everyone. Her signature sound is a cheerful fusion of traditional country vibes and bluegrass, sprinkled with a dash of sparkle. The melodies are brought to life by the lively fiddle and the spirited pedal steel guitar, creating a perfect harmony that complements the lively twang in her vocals. It’s more than just music; it’s a joyful journey that captivates hearts and gets the toes tapping.

Now, life hasn’t been all roses and rainbows for this country bumpkin’. After the sudden death of her mama followed by divorce, Ashley found herself in the dark unknown, feeling as if a tornado had leveled her home to its foundation. Alone in cleaning up the wreckage, the once carefree young lady found herself in unprecedented pain. Faced with a choice, she could either abandon music forever or grab her guitar, channel the hurt onto paper, and sing through the pain. This marked the beginning of Ashley’s heroic journey—juggling college as a single mother, and establishing a music management company, all while life’s lessons continued to test her resilience. It was a battle to rebuild a life for her children and rise to the role of Matriarch.

Rising from a period of healing and embracing newfound strength, it seems that the warmth of sunshine is returning, and the flower buds are blooming once more in 2024! With her new line dancing, country music-loving truck-driving husband, and 4 kiddos in tow, Ashley is heading out for her first regional radio tour, meeting new country music fans at Cracker Barrel for a coffee and shopping! Join Ashley Dawn on her journey at www.AshleyDawn.com and indulge in her music on your favorite streaming platform.

KARLI & JAMES- 4.12.24

LYNNMARIE & E3- 3.29.24

Formed in 2012 by frontman and multi-instrumentalist C.J. Benoit, Los Swamp Monsters is an eclectic and electric band that fuses Rock and Roll, Cajun, Blues, Tejano, Soul, Zydeco, Honky-Tonk and Swamp Pop for a unique sound that’s right at home in the Cowboy Bars, Juke Joints, and Punk Clubs where they cut their teeth as they are at the Street Festivals and Stages alongside both icons like DC Blues legends the Nighthawks, Alt-Country hero Jason Ringenberg, Gulf Coast icon Nick Gaitan (Los Skarnales, Umbrella Man, Billy Joe Shaver) and Art Punk icons Half Japanese to up and coming artists like Marshall Falcon, Catfish Seminar, Shantelle and the Juke Joint Band, Andi Jane & the Honky-Tonk Cabaret, Tennessee Troubadour Rabblers, Blackwater Down, and more . . . and with fans and friends including Wild Bill Perkins (Rumen Ramos & the Mexican Revolution), Shawn Sahm (Texas Tornados, Shawn Sahm and Friends), and Randy Lee Ashcraft, the boys are showing no sign of slowing down!

Los Swamp Monsters also has appeared in the Studio too, being one of the first (if not the first) Tex-Mex band to record at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL, joining such icons such as Aretha Franklin, Duane Allman, Wilson Pickett, and Jason Isbell as well as releasing live bootlegs independently on livestreaming and Bandcamp (their most recent streaming bootleg, Live in Texas, is compiled from the five-record series available on Bandcamp, recorded live on their January tour of the Lone Star State joining a studio record, two eps, a single and three full-length bootlegs . . . not bad for an independent band) and achieved chart success in France and Belgium and Radio play as far out as Australia!

But LSM’s sound isn’t some run-of-the-mill sound. Fusing Saxophone, Harmonicas, Maracas, and the occasional Rubboard as well as C.J.’s trusty Hohner Accordions alongside Rock and roll Guitars, Bass, and Drums, the band’s “Swamp Tejano Boogie” sound brings comparisons to the Texas Tornados, NRBQ, and the Grateful Dead. Andy Kahrs is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist with a distinct roots sound bases in blues, soul, and classic country. His 2022 EP, Together, was met with critical acclaim and streaming success, with one track, ‘If You Love To Be Right,’ added to Spotify’s ‘Best Blues Songs of 2022’ editorial playlist. Nashville’s Music Mecca lauded his “vocal prowess” and “unique sound that stands out from the usual Nashville subjects.”

A native of Georgia, Kahrs started his career playing blues bars in Atlanta and Athens, GA as a solo artist and bandleader. In his early 20s, he moved with his wife to San Francisco while she attended graduate school. Ironically, the move west shifted his sound towards bluegrass and country, as he felt his southern roots more deeply upon leaving home. This change culminated in Kahrs becoming the frontman for ‘Rhinestone: The Music of Glen Campbell’, a tribute act met with stellar reviews and sellout crowds across northern California.

Kahrs made the move to Nashville in 2018, where he has since released a self-produced acoustic LP of original material, Inside a Song, and the 2022 EP Together, a 3-song EP produced by Bobby Holland (Maggie Rose, Kesha) that took his career to a new level with a southeastern tour and over 2,000 monthly Spotify listeners. More new music is on the way in 2023, and will feature blues and soul-leaning sounds produced by Zach Allen (Keb’ Mo, Kingfish). Expect those to release this summer, and for another run of southeastern tour dates to follow later this year.

SAM GYLLENHAAL BAND- 3.9.24

The Sam Gyllenhaal Band has found the sweet spot. That place where rich three-part harmony and thoughtful, catchy songwriting come together – but it wasn’t easy to find. Sam has been writing, woodshedding, recording, and gigging over a span of 10 years that has included living in 3 cities, 5 or 6 day jobs, and hundreds of song demos.

Joined by fellow singer/songwriter Alaina Stacey and long-time friend and bandmate Alex Schreiner on harmony vocals, the Sam Gyllenhaal Band officially came together in 2017. Their pop, rock, and country influences inspire their songs’ cascading melodies, driving grooves, and vivid lyrics. The band likes to sing about life and love in motion – sometimes soaring, sometimes stumbling, but always moving forward.
